Mayweather | Conor McGregor Claims He’ll Earn More Than $100 Million For Floyd Mayweather Bout

ConorMcGregor will take Dana White’s $75 million estimate and raisehim another $25 million — at least.

When all is said and done, the UFC lightweight champion believeshe’ll take home more than $100 million for a proposed boxing matchwith Floyd Mayweather. White appeared Wednesday on “The Herd” withColin Cowherd, where he detailed negotiations for the superfightand predicted that McGregor would earn $75 million for the bout,while Mayweather would receive $100 million.

“Happy Thursday everyone. How’s that 75milli make your stomachfeel,” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “It’s actually 100+ milli if wego by the non-conservative numbers the fight will actually do andthat’s not including my endorsements and business ventures. 28years of age. Fresh c—t. Doubt me now.”

White said on Wednesday that he expected to finish McGregor’sportion of the deal within the next few days. The UFC boss has notyet met with anyone from Mayweather’s team. As of now, the fightremains far from a done deal, despite the positive signs ofprogress.

“Again, I haven’t gotten into a room with Team Mayweather yet. Whoknows?” White said. “We’re good on the Conor side. I need to figureout the Mayweather side, and maybe the Mayweather side can’t bedone. I promised Conor I’d do everything I could to make this thinghappen, so that’s what I’m gonna do.”

McGregor last appeared at UFC 205 in New York on Nov. 12, when hecaptured the lightweight belt with a second-round stoppage of EddieAlvarez . Mayweather ended his retirement in March to pursue aboxing match with McGregor; he last fought in September 2015,taking a unanimous verdict against Andre Berto.

McGregor later posted a video on Instagram offering boxing adviceto one of his “proteges,” and he also offered some further thoughtshis fighting focus these days.

“The focus has been solely boxing lately but make no mistakes, thekicking and grappling aspects, and everything else got to do withunlimited free fighting, is still very much present in mythoughts,” McGregor said. “Floyd may crap his jocks after all andif so I will go back to true fighting or just pick another boxerlike [Manny Pacquiao] or something. But whatever, that’s anotherconversation.”
