Titan | Titan FC 44 Weigh-in Results: Sharipov, Torres Cleared For Championship Showdown

Torres, who wrecked shop in the amateurs by beating every man hefaced and scooping up various championships, has looked just asimpressive in the pros. He’s stopped three of the fur dudes he’sfaced and is coming off an impressive first-round TKO of Pedro Nobre to retain his Titan FC flyweight strap. Moving up a weight class,he was the first to step onto the scale and came in at 134.6pounds.

Sharipov, a Kyrgyzstani who has already fought for TachiPalace Fights and BellatorMMA , captured his promotional 135-pound title by edging AndrewWhitney via unanimous decision at Titan FC 42 last December. Awinner of two in a row and three of four overall, Sharipov lookedsolid at the weigh-ins. He came in officially at 134.2 pounds.

The co-feature will see longtime MMA vet GesiasCavalcante take on KurtHolobaugh for the interim lightweight belt. Holobaugh weighedin at 154.2 pounds while “JZ” clocked in at 154.8.

The action will take place inside Pembroke Pines City Center inPembroke, Fla., and will be streamed live on UFC Fight Passbeginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
