After being discovered on “Dana White: Lookin’ For a Fight,” JaredGordon will make his Octagon debut against MichelQuinones at UFC 211 .
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the featherweight pairingon Tuesday night. UFC 211 takes place at American Airlines Arena inDallas and is headlined by a heavyweight championship clash between StipeMiocic and Junior dosSantos .
Gordon, 28, has compiled a 12-1 record since beginning hisprofessional career in 2011. Much of that tenure has occurred underthe Cage Fury Fighting Championship banner, where he was thepromotion’s featherweight champion. The Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu product has finished five of his wins by KO/TKO and twovia submission.
Quinones will also be making his promotional debut. The 32-year-oldFloridian enters the matchup on a five-fight winning streak and is8-1 as a pro overall. His lone defeat came to BrandonGirtz at Bellator 80 in November 2012.
